About us
Q1 Trackracing is an ambitious partnership between two well established, Belgium based, racing teams . EMG Motorsport and Thems Racing joined forces to meet a very specific need in the market. Today we see drivers of all levels of experience venture into motorsports, their goals varying from hobby, amateur to professional racing. Some want to race as a hobby, out of passion. Others want to build a professional career. Q1 Trackracing wants to be a focal point for all of them!
History
It all started with a group of friends tinkering on cars after hours. In 1989, Edgard Terium put a name on the bunch: EMG Motorsport. Gradually the 25 strong team evolved into a professional racing team. Up to 2019 EMG mainly competed in local championships with BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini and Ford Fiesta, with great succes!
In 2019, a plan was made to step up the game. That's when Q1 Trackracing was born. The goal was to use the vast experience of EMG and intensify the effort on structure, engineering and marketing.
