This weekend marked round two of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.
After a month without racing, everyone was eager to get back into action.

Friday – Building Pace in Free Practice

The weekend kicked off on Friday at Zandvoort with the first and second free practice sessions. Right from the start, our pace was promising, and we steadily built momentum throughout the day. Fortunately, the track stayed dry, allowing us to complete both sessions without disruption.
Frank finished the first session in P11 overall, while Alexandra secured P16 overall – placing 1st and 4th respectively in the rookie classification. The second free practice followed a similar pattern, with both drivers slightly improving their overall standings while maintaining their strong rookie positions.

Saturday – Challenging Conditions and Strong Results

Saturday brought the qualifying session and Race 1, with typical Zandvoort weather making its presence known – gusty winds and intermittent rain showers made for challenging conditions. On a wet track, our drivers managed to secure solid grid positions for the races ahead. Frank qualified 6th overall and claimed pole position in the rookie class, while Alexandra placed 14th overall and 4th among the rookies.

Later in the day, the focus shifted to Race 1. The excitement built up as we prepared to hit the track at the end of the day. What followed was an intense race filled with close battles. Frank clinched the rookie class win and finished P7 overall, while Alexandra crossed the line 5th in the rookie standings – both bringing home valuable championship points.

Sunday – A Day to Remember

Sunday truly became our day. The motivation was high, and everyone in the team – from drivers to the mecanics– was ready to give their all. Frank engaged in a thrilling fight with a key rival in the rookie championship and emerged victorious once again, securing another rookie class win. Alexandra claimed her first-ever podium in the PCCB rookie category with a strong third-place finish – a clear sign of progress throughout the weekend.

Once again, the race was held in wet conditions, with heavy rain falling just before the start. Despite the weather, our drivers proved they are more than capable in the rain and showcased true grit and determination.

Our history

The team did an amazing job this weekend. We worked hard, but also had a lot of fun along the way. Between sessions, we even had some friendly challenges – have you seen the reaction time challenge on our socials yet? 😉

In the end, we achieved these results together. Everyone played their part, and it really showed on track. On to the next one – with the same energy and team spirit!
